We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team in Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for managing construction projects up to $40 million, working closely with Senior Superintendents and Project Managers. Your primary goal will be to ensure a productive and safe job site, maintaining high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee jobsite administration and coordinate field operations.
- Assist in the development, monitoring, and updating of the project schedule.
- Manage the direct labor force and maintain positive labor relations on-site.
- Manage subcontractor schedules, quality-of-work, and payments.
- Ensure a safe and secure jobsite environment.
- Perform quality control for the project.
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders including the Owner, design professionals, building officials, local businesses, and emergency services.
- Prepare and submit daily reports.
Qualifications
- OSHA 30 hours Training.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent plan and specification reading skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen test if hired.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in Federal government construction (preferred).
- BS/BA Degree (preferred).
- LEED Training / Corps Of Engineer Training (preferred).
- Experience in Primavera Expedition and Bluebeam (preferred).
- Scheduling knowledge – Primavera P6 experience (preferred).
