Hybrid Position: 3-days per week onsite, 2-days remote (upon completion of training).

National Funding is seeking an exceptional Senior Financial Analyst with strong financial modeling expertise and professional experience in the lending industry. We are launching a fully automated alternative lending product targeting the Small-Medium Business (SMB) marketplace. Our new cutting-edge platform is launching under the brand name Moneyjet over the course of the next month. Moneyjet is designed to take advantage of the growing demand for automated SMB financing that requires little-to-no-human intervention.

Position Summary:
Moneyjet is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to work in our midtown Manhattan office. The position reports to Moneyjet’s President, with a dotted line (matrix reporting) to the CFO of National Funding.
This position will play a critical and highly visible role in the development of financial models focusing on FP&A. The individual will collaborate with teams and leaders across the organization to develop and maintain financial models that reflect the group’s best assessment of current and future loan performance. In addition, the individual will develop a resource allocation and investment framework to ensure to prioritize product enhancements, new features and entirely new products.
Major Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation, development, and maintenance of financial modelling for revenue and expense projections including P&L and balance sheet projections.
- Lead in the creation, development, and maintenance of cash flow/needs modelling working in close collaboration with NF’s treasury function.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of monthly reporting to key partners and leadership tracking performance KPIs and other relevant market datapoints.
- Analyze and track KPIs and prepare financial and operational reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to work on and support important projects ensuring that modeling assumptions are up to date and accurate.
- Help drive and support the annual budgeting process in collaboration with the Director of Accounting.
- Support of capital markets functions through reporting creation and cross department collaboration.
Minimum Requirements:
- Accounting/Finance degree.
- At least five years’ experience in financial services/lending environment. Lending industry experience is very highly preferred.
- Must have prior modeling/forecasting experience.
- Expert Excel skills.
- Highly motivated individual with proven, strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
- Understanding of financial statements and their interdependencies.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- SQL experience a plus.
- Tableau experience a plus.

- Working in a temperature-controlled office environment.
- Sitting at a desk for long periods of time while viewing multiple computer screen monitors.
- Potential lifting of boxes around 5-10lbs.
