Change.org is searching for a Senior Analyst who is great at writing SQL, delivering analysis, building beautiful reports, and has a passion for expanding our platform to mobilize hundreds of millions of people to take deeper civic action. You will report to our Associate Director of Analytics. As a key member of our Analytics team, you’ll partner with product teams, build and maintain org-wide dashboards, collaborate with data engineers and perform complex analysis to drive actionable insights.

Key Outcomes:
- Own relationships with product teams to help them analyze experiments and features, and identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities
- Build high quality dashboards that are used across the organization to monitor key business performance and team-specific results.
- Work with data engineers to help ensure access, speed, and quality of data available to users across the company
- Perform end-to-end complex analysis to drive actionable insights, from discovery to execution and delivery, in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
The most important core competencies for the role are:
- Technical Skills:
- Excellent at writing performant and clean SQL (any kind with a preference for Redshift SQL or PostgreSQL).
- Comfortable with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets). Pivot Tables, Index Match, and Sumifs should be no secret to you!
- Comfortable with Looker and LookML
- Strong and open communication and collaboration. We work in a fast-paced, remote environment where constant communication and collaboration is key.
- Strong attention to details, hunger to learn, and creative thinking.
Target experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Analytics with an emphasis on data engineering, product and strategy
- Experience in an at-scale, consumer marketplace or platform
- Strong technical background

We’re currently able to hire staff based in the following US locations: AZ, CA, DC, GA, IA, MD, MA, MO, NJ, NY, NC, PA, RI, TX, VT, WA.
Our compensation philosophy is based on pay equity. All of our salaries are determined before we launch a role – they are based on a predetermined salary scale, the level on that scale and the cost of labor for that location. The annual salary of a Senior Analyst is $157,500 in San Francisco/New York; $149,500 in Austin, Boston, LA or Seattle and $134,000 for all other US locations. The annual salary of a Senior Analyst is 144,500 CAD Vancouver or Toronto; 134,000 CAD in Victoria or Calgary and 132,000 CAD for all other Canadian locations.
