We're currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst - Corporate Security to join our team in Franklin, TN.
This role will plan, prepare, consolidate, and report annual budgets, monthly financial forecasts, and variance analyses. It will review and process expenditure requests, and track and analyze revenues and expenses for projects and operations. This role will conduct complex ad-hoc analysis as needed and support the development of mid-range plans. It will manage monthly financial close process to ensure accurate reporting. This role will contribute to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth.
Job functions include but are not limited to:
- Plan, coordinate, consolidate, and complete annual budget, working with client groups to achieve budget guidelines.
- Report monthly financial results, including variances to budget and reasons for significant variances. Process expenditure requests, analyzing costs vs. benefits.
- Requires interaction with clients and other overhead groups. Track spending for approved projects, reporting monthly by department. Prepare monthly expense forecast based on client input and report variances to budget and prior forecasts.
- Conduct monthly financial analyses of various operations. Develop mid-range plan and associated variance analyses.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses with greater complexity, including return on investment analyses. Provide journal entries and accruals to ensure accurate financials.
- Makes recommendations for capital and services expenditures.
- Analyze ROI on proposed and existing projects and programs to include the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)s.
- Assists with vendor negotiation on smaller scope projects.
- Manage end to end purchasing requests for selected vendors.
- Prepare executive presentations as needed to show ROI of cost benefits.
- As necessary, perform other related duties of which the above are representative.
Qualifications:
- Firm understanding of financial concepts related to financial statements, and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.
- Five or more years of directly related professional level experience preferred; or demonstrated analytical capability.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. MBA, MA or CPA preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to produce non-standard, creative products.
- Demonstrated experience with purchase requisition and budgeting systems.
