THE POSITION:
The financial analyst will support the Director of Finance and Finance Department in its FP&A efforts and play a critical role in supporting the strategic decision-making process by providing insightful financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for STACK’s portfolio:
- Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to support management and stakeholders in decision-making processes
- Analyze financial statements, operating expenses, cash flow projections, and other relevant financial metrics
- Perform variance analysis, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide recommendations for operational improvements against the annual operating plan
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with operating groups throughout the company in order to build annual budgets, long-range financial plans, and forecasts for the portfolio
- Assist with compilation and production of the board decks as presented to key stakeholders
- Assist in the creation of financial models to evaluate the feasibility of new projects, including sensitivity and scenario analysis
- Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by leadership
THE DETAILS:
- Location: Denver, CO - In office: 4 days per week
- Travel: less than 5% domestically
- Compensation CO: $75,000 - $90,000 + Bonus
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must pass a comprehensive background screening
MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
- 3+ years of prior experience in FP&A or a similar role analyzing financial statements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
- Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask
- Proven record of providing both internal and external customer service
