The Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst – 2nd line provides support and acts as a point of escalation for the SOC Analysts (1st Line) who are responsible for monitoring, triaging, analysing and incident raising in the Security Operations Centre (SOC).
The role is accountable for the actions and work carried out on their shift and is responsible for contributing to the improvement of the ticket creation process, analytical methodology and the net promoter score.
You will lead the development of long and short skill-based capabilities, supporting the SOC development roadmap, by delivering SOC capabilities to the business and championing new ideas and initiatives to help improve new and existing competencies.
Ideally you will have knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack and experience using Azure Sentinel and MS Defender to triage security threats, as well as being SC200 or SC900 certified.
