Experience Required: 3-5 years in Construction/Demolition, 5 years in Accounting, 5-7 years in Accounts Payable

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for managing our accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and maintaining seamless operations. Your responsibilities will include processing invoices, managing credit and gas cards, executing subcontractor waivers, and handling reimbursement requests. You will also collaborate closely with other accounting functions and contribute to our team’s success through exceptional organization and diplomatic skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handing job invoice receipts and entries, including various invoices such as fuel, yard, and equipment.
- Weekly management of credit cards and gas cards.
- Monthly statement confirmations and managing overhead checks and ACH direct deposits.
- Coordinating subcontractor waivers.
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies and terms for expenses and reimbursements.
- Collaborative involvement with other accounting functions.
- Collecting, opening, stamping, dispersing, and scanning AP-related mail items.
- Completing vendor credit applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Superior organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Foundation software, and other relevant accounting software.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or formal accounting training is a plus, with 5-7 years of experience, ideally in the construction/demolition industry.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently.
