Brief Description
About the Role:
The individual in this role is primarily responsible for the management of the pricing system which supports the sales team for all customers in North America, Europe, and Asia. Functions of the role entail management of the pricing database for all price-related adjustments and analysis, coordination of the price adjustments with Customer Service and Logistics, and overseeing the execution of the price list for distribution and warehouse customers.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Management and administration of pricing systems and databases, as related to annual or semi-annual price increases, price adjustments, and price lists generation.
- Communication of all necessary price information to Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Logistics.
- Analyze and evaluate multi-year price scenarios by product and by customer.
- Analyze data to support the development and implementation of pricing strategies to maximize profit and propel growth.
- Identify performance trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Perform margin and pricing analysis to support business initiatives.
- Integration of multiple databases into a central system for optimization and improved price accuracy.
- Oversight and communication of pricing updates as related to Ex Works, Incoterms DAP, DDP, and CFR delivery methods.
- Liaison with Customer Service and Logistics to ensure data integrity. Create processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors. Show accountability/connection to the Sales process.
- Maintain all List Price Schedules, Off-list Price Schedules, Export Price Schedule, and Warehouse costing.
- Communicate List Price and Off-list Price Schedules to distributors for all distribution products and respond to distribution customer requests for product pricing.
- Set up new customer and new product pricing for new products and SKUs in coordination with the Director, Sales.
- Perform administrative functions to support Senior Management.
- Manage trade show calendar, related functions, and coordination with venue and sales team. This includes oversight for trade show budget, cost review, and payment approval.
- Continually look for opportunities to increase efficiency through automation.

You have exceptional math, analytical, written, and oral communication skills with a real knack for quality work. Your Excel skills are advanced; you easily know how to navigate Excel without a mouse and you're the go-to for everything complex about Excel!
Must Haves:
- Our preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; however, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- 2-4 years of related experience in database management and analysis.
- Proficient in Excel and similar applications and databases including pivot tables and macros.
- Experience with business analysis and optimization.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
