Responsibilities
- Lead customer interview sessions with state agencies to draw out and validate both functional and technical requirements. Utilize a diverse toolkit of techniques, including interviews, document analysis, surveys, and more, to ensure we capture every detail.
- Dive deep into information from various sources, resolve conflicts, and transform high-level insights into actionable specifics. You'll be the master of extracting user requests from underlying needs.
- Collaborate closely with state agencies, our talented development team, and user interface designers to define crystal-clear requirements and acceptance criteria for implementation.
- Create detailed project specification documentation that tells a compelling story. Use user scenarios and screen mock-ups to paint a picture of our vision.
- Craft meticulous test plans and scripts for user testing, ensuring every aspect is thoroughly evaluated.
- Be an integral part of our sprint planning and execution ceremonies. Clarify project and task scopes with our development and operations teams and keep the agile spirit alive!
- Conduct internal testing and other quality assurance activities, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards.
- Take charge of validating requirements with key stakeholders, building trust and collaboration.
- Be there every step of the way throughout the development life cycle, from inception to implementation.
- Develop trusted relationships with state agency subject matter experts, enhancing our understanding of their unique needs.
Qualifications
- Hold an undergraduate degree in information systems, business, computer science, or possess equivalent work experience in business analysis. Preference for Certification of Competency in Business Analysis or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
- Bring a minimum of two years of job-related experience to the table.
- Embrace a positive attitude and patience when dealing with customers, regardless of their technical background.
