The scope of this role is to provide intermediate expertise in compliance activities based on the regulations and specifications to meet customer requirements regarding compliance in semi-dry pump and integrated systems businesses. The individual’s responsibilities will include, though not be limited to, all of the following:
- Support compliance strategy for the successful new product development and maintenance of legacy products.
- Track compliance schedule and resources for each project.
- Compile standard compliance reports and carry out some validation and development tests.
- Progress compliance tasks as an integrated part of a project team, to ensure completion to agreed timescales.
- Coordinate compliance activities to obtain third-party certification.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education Level:
- Bachelor’s degree and above in Engineering required (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent).
- Certificate of Engineer General Machinery, Engineer Electricity or equivalent by HRD Korea preferred. - Relevant Previous Experience:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Compliance Engineer with a strong engineering background.
- Work experience in a recognized 3rd-party certification body is preferred. - Knowledge Areas/Skills:
- Understanding of various compliance, legislation, and industrial standards (SEMI, CE, NRTL, KS, IEC, EN, UL, CSA, UKCA).
- Familiarity with Samsung Common Spec and Hynix Essentials (incl. TSMC, ASML, Intel).
- Knowledge of EU Directives, EN61010-1, EN1012-2, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, ISTA.
- Fundamental knowledge of circuit analysis, structural and explosion-proof design.
- Skills in measuring and test equipment systems.
- Experience with Technical Construction Files (TCF) for Product Safety Checklist (PSCL) and 3rd party certification. - Other Requirements:
- Good command of spoken and written English (technical English) desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Technical documentation writing skills.
