Job Description
The Senior Program Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting customer programs in the daily execution of production and engineering development programs. Will provide financial support to Program Managers and Finance Leadership in the areas of program cost analysis, cost estimating, cash flow monitoring, gross margin analysis, and variances analysis/reporting.
Hybrid position (training will be mainly onsite).
- Maintain program on a timely basis with accurate revenue recognition, invoicing, cost, funding, gross margins, cash flow, and programmatic risks.
- Monitor costs on a weekly basis ensuring that actuals are within budget and charged to the correct cost accounts.
- Support the generation of monthly financial status reports, monthly/quarterly Estimate at Completes (EACs), funding tracking reports, internal financial reporting and submit invoices to customers.
- Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), time-phased budgets and schedules, Estimate to Completes (ETCs), analyses and interpretations.
- Serve as proposal pricing analyst.
- Provide cost analysis and Earned Value Management System (EVMS), support to Program Manager and Control Account Managers (CAMs).
- Prepare financial contracts data requirements list (CDRLs) for timely delivery.
- Interface with the program team to develop and status schedule requirements, including updates as required.
- Prepare internal program review presentations for management.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- 3+ years of experience in the defense industry.
- Microsoft Excel (pivot table and database analysis), Word, and PowerPoint.
- 2+ years of experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle; familiar with downloads from ERP to Excel for analysis.
- Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens.
Desired Skills:
- 3+ years of experience with government accounting processes.
- Propricer (proposal software) is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be a proven team leader with excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
- Oracle ERP and COBRA EVMS experience a plus.
Travel:
Some travel may be required (up to 10%).
