ACTIA Corporation has been manufacturing quality vehicle electronics and diagnostic equipment for growing markets such as Off-Highway, Bus & Coach, Truck & Fleet, Marine and Specialty Vehicles for over 30 years. ACTIA Group is an international group based in Toulouse, France.
We are currently looking for a Senior Controller to join our team in Elkhart, IN. The Senior Controller will be responsible for the oversight, leadership and coordination of accounting, financial reporting, financial management, business management and budgeting efforts as it relates to the operation.

Job Specific Competencies:
- Finance: Provide oversight and direct the processes of budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, forecasting, and insurance activities for the organization.

- Prepare financial documents, reports, or budgets.

- Provide periodic reports to other departments.
- Provide oversight and direct preparation for external audits and tax requirements.

- Completes statistical and routine reports.

- Coaching and developing subordinates.
Business Management:
- Direct assets of the organization.
- Reviews and analyzes general economic, business and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations.
- Analyzes operational issues impacting functional.
- Establish and maintain good relational contacts with parent company and financial institutions.
Legal Compliance:
- Ensure legal compliance with state, federal and OSHA requirements.
- Ensure ISO procedures are followed.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance; CPA and/or MBA an added asset.
- 7 years progressive accounting experience.
- Good control of verbal and written English is essential; a second European language is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills required.
- Logical reasoning ability essential.
Working Conditions:
- Movement: This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and on the production floor. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Operate/Use: Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e. copier, printer, calculator).
- Ascend/Descend: Rarely ascends/descends stairs to reach archived files.
- Communicate: This position frequently communicates with co-workers, managers and supervisors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Work Environment: Office environment.
- Travel: Occasional travel, with overnight stays, may be required.
