About the role:
Boston Scientific is looking for an experienced business analyst to help guide our organization into the future. The ideal candidate will be passionate about researching, documenting technical opportunities, and identifying and resolving system issues with a focus on providing analytical and IT/systems support for Operations, Customer Service, and Manufacturing personnel at high levels of complexity. The Business Process Analyst will partner with Stakeholders and IT to interpret business objectives and translate them into user stories and workable technology solutions. This role has the potential to have direct reports.
Work Mode: On-Site (4 days/week)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Partner with Stakeholders and IT to interpret business objectives and translate them into user stories and workable technology solutions.
- Drive the identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through the evaluation of real-time data. Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development.
- Translate requirements into Business User Stories with “Who, What, Why” acceptance criteria.
- Triage User Issues to provide guidance and resolve issues.
- Analyze business processes and problems and identify, prioritize, coach, and lead continuous improvement efforts utilizing Six Sigma and Lean tools.
- Perform tasks such as Tracing Requirements to Design, creating a Test Script for Requirements, and executing System and User Acceptance Testing. Execute software validation and/or qualification protocols and record results.
- Work closely with the project team (internal and external) to ensure a timely solution.
- May lead multiple project activities simultaneously, working with internal and external cross-functional groups.
- Resolve technical issues, including diagnosis of the problem, recommendations for workarounds, and defect correction.
- Identify ongoing opportunities and approaches for automating functional business processes. Work with users to recommend improvement programs and process enhancements.
- Build content and processes to educate the project team on system updates and changes.
- Drive processes to ensure data integrity and consistency across SAP, Manhattan, and other supporting systems.
- Collaborate with the Project Management, Operations, Customer Service, Quality, Manufacturing, and other functions to define and implement end-to-end process improvement opportunities.
- Support the group in resolving system and process issues.
- Foster a community that shares best practices and drives innovative ideas for further improving our planning solution.
- Develop, execute, and document acceptance testing, end-to-end testing, report test results, bug reports, and drive resolution of defects.
- Support a work environment of continuous improvement in line with BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System, and appropriate regulations for the areas supported.
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of proven Business Process Analyst experience.
- Expert in using the Microsoft suite of tools, including Visio.
- SAP experience in Distribution and Logistics.
- Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Collaborative team member with the ability to be a creative and innovative thinker.
- Practical experience generating and refining process documentation.
- Experience performing hands-on end-user support and testing.
Preferred qualifications:
- Supply Chain Logistics.
- Manhattan WMOS.
- SAP S4 HANA.
- Inventory Management.
- Product Owner Certification (CSPO).
- Business Analyst Certification.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Self-starter with a strong, proactive work ethic.
- Exceptional organizational & time management skills.
- Being a team player is key.
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
