Brief Description of the Organization: The Technology Business Enablement Chief Operating Office (TBE COO) drives a strong focus on risk and controls, compliance and value across Operations & Technology. The TBE COO oversees Controls, Analytics and Decision Management, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Management, Data and Transformation for Operations & Technology, as well as Business Execution for our Technology, Operations, and Foundational Services functions. Technology Controls group is responsible for driving implementation of the firms controls standards across our technology functions as well as ERM oversight, controls monitoring and testing, and issue remediation. The organization drives risk reduction through root cause analyses and horizontal initiatives and provides governance and oversight of Compliance and Operational Risks.
DESCRIPTION: The Controls Technology Reporting, Analysis & Automation team is responsible for Risk Reporting, Controls Automation, Data Analysis, and Escalation / Senior Management Support. The position will be aligned with the Escalations, Strategic Insight Coordination team which is responsible for Escalation oversight and reporting for Technology, and support for Technology senior management on various governance forums.
The responsibilities of the Management Reporting Analyst are as follow:
- Assist with the management of the Escalation oversight for Controls Technology
- Support O&T senior management with additional insight views for O&T-related information covered in various governance forums
- Interaction with other Controls Technology teams to support escalation inquiries and obtain relevant input for governance forums
- Analyze data and metrics provided via the Global Escalation Platform (GEP) tool to identify risk, performance and quality events and significant variances and trends
- Participate in enterprise-wide conference working group calls on risk or quality events
- Verify/specify requirements for embedded quality in the metrics reporting processes
- Generate reports based on the Technology-owned Escalation Events registered in the Global Escalation Platform(GEP)
- Execute MCA Controls related to the Technology Escalation Process
- Keep updated with Corporate Policies, Standards and Guidelines
- Demonstrate experience on the following areas: Security, IT and Operations metrics; Data integrity; Assessment and consultation; Business Process re-engineering; Executive presentation and communication and Web site content management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in IT or business
- 3 years experience involving technology projects, especially in Operations and Technology control metrics
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
- Demonstrated influencing skills in a decentralized environment
- Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills
- Experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management
- Individual should be analytical, flexible, team-oriented, have good interpersonal, communication, and follow up skills with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Technical proficiencies in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and MS Access

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Skill in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment
