GENERAL FUNCTION: The Capital, Resolution & Recovery Planning Senior Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability and regulatory compliance of the organization. This position involves developing, implementing, and maintaining capital planning, resolution, and recovery strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the organization’s resilience in times of financial stress.
Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Capital Planning:
Develop and maintain capital plans in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to assess capital adequacy.
Collaborate with finance and risk management teams to optimize capital allocation.
Resolution Planning:
Prepare and update resolution plans to ensure the organization can be resolved in an orderly manner during a crisis.
Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information for resolution planning.
Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with resolution planning requirements.
Recovery Planning:
Develop and implement recovery plans to restore financial stability in the event of significant stress.
Identify and assess potential recovery options and strategies.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of recovery plans.
Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to capital, resolution, and recovery planning.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and industry best practices.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on risk mitigation strategies.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in capital planning, resolution planning, recovery planning, or a related field within the financial services industry.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to capital, resolution, and recovery planning.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Experience working on projects independently and cross functionally.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
