W. M. Jordan Development is seeking an Asset Manager with 5 years of industry experience to join our team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee Third-Party Property Management in the day-to-day operations of the real estate assets, including tenant relations, lease administration, and maintenance.
- Oversee the preparation and management of property budgets.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the portfolio, such as market fluctuations, regulatory changes, or tenant defaults.
- Perform financial analyses to continuously monitor and assess property performance, including cash flow projections and ROI calculations, and provide regular financial and operational reports on asset performance.
- Coordinate with Third-Party Leasing Team to negotiate lease agreements with tenants, optimizing projected return.
- Collaborate with Marketing Team to develop effective strategies for selling or leasing properties.
- Support the Building Development Team to deliver tenant improvements on time and on budget.
- Plan and oversee capital improvement projects to reduce operating costs and to maintain and enhance property value.
- Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscapes to inform decision-making and investment strategies.
- Develop and execute strategic asset plans to maximize the performance and value of the portfolio.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of property operations, lease structures, and market dynamics.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and reporting.
- Experience in research, data analysis, and problem-solving.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Highly organized.
