Business Transformation & Value Advisor - Cloud FinOps (Global Team)
This is a role with one of Slalom's global teams - we are open to hiring in many locations and travel will be required as needed by our clients.

The Role: Business Transformation & Value Advisor - Cloud FinOps
Target Level: Principal or Senior Principal
You will enjoy this role if you are passionate about enabling and driving business transformation by understanding the benefit and value of adopting emerging technology such as but not limited to AI and Cloud. This role will partner with Slalom's clients to deliver transformative outcomes enabled by emerging technology and support clients in their evaluation and realization of their Cloud and AI investments.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement AI and Cloud strategies that address clients' people, process and technology evolution.
- Apply quantitative methods and measures to demonstrate value realization over time.
- Develop financial modeling to track and forecast current and future state spend, TCO and breakeven points for client Cloud and GenAI investments.
- Recommend strategies and options to potentially reduce AI and Cloud spend while increasing ROI.
- Design and implement sound value realization and FinOps capabilities within client organizations.
- Design and implement new and efficient ways of working within cross-functional organizations.
- Understand Cloud economics and how Cloud capabilities can unlock/accelerate business value.
- Provide transformation advisory expertise and complete core deliverables in the design, planning and enablement phases of a client's digital business transformation including but not limited to operating model design and governance, process design and implementation, role design and talent management, etc.
- Support local and global Slalom teams with client solutions and sales, client delivery and go-to-market initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in managing and delivering digital and technology-enabled business transformation programs.
- Experience in value measurement and value realization.
- Experience in defining cost optimization and FinOps initiatives.
- Strong financial acumen and business value analysis (FP&A knowledge a plus).
- Strong proficiency in business case development, strategy design and data visualization.
- Understanding of Cloud platform and AI technologies.
- Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP pricing structures, discount programs and usage optimization.
- Previous consulting experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong executive presence and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage senior client executives.
- Experience with solutioning and contributing to business development as a subject matter expert.
- Knowledge of a cloud spend management tool like Apptio a plus.
- For Senior Principal to Director, we require experience with the sales lifecycle, including revenue targets of $2.5-$5M+.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base pay salary range for Principal is $122,000 to $225,000 and the target base salary pay range is $165,000 to $190,000. The base salary range for Senior Principal is $140,000 to $258,000 and the target base salary pay range is $190,000 to $215,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
