The Sr. Analyst, FP&A is a key contributor on the Pure Fishing Finance team, with specific focus on reporting, forecasting and enhancing financial tools. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, is a motivated self-starter who can work independently, has prior financial analysis experience and the desire to help build a winning company. The Sr. Analyst, FP&A will support financial planning, business decision analysis and business reviews.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare financial plan, forecast, strategy, reporting and analysis for global Pure Fishing business
- Track relevant metrics and create value-add reporting through collaboration with management team
- Influence and provide guidance for decision making within the team
- Provide ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed
- Develop process improvement opportunities that enhance the efficiencies of the FP&A process
- Compare actual results with forecast to analyze and identify areas of strengths and weaknesses
Accounting & Reporting:
- Assist in delivering timely and accurate financial reporting and presentation materials for the Executive Leadership Team
- Review and analyze balance sheet accounts to ensure reserves are adequate and accounts are fairly stated
- Interact with the Pure Fishing corporate team and international business units
COMPETENCIES:
- Highly proficient personal computer skills and technology driven
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet established deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy
- Maintain data integrity and ongoing quality control of delivered reports
- Broad knowledge of accounting processes
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at variety of levels within organization
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance)
- Advanced degree/certification preferred (MBA, CPA)
- 4+ years’ experience as a financial analyst
- 3+ years of progressive finance and planning experience
- 1+ years of SAP experience preferred
- Advanced level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
