Senior Credit Analyst

REPORTS TO: Director of Credit
DEPARTMENT: Credit - Columbia, SC
Summary: To adhere to Navitas’ credit guidelines in approving or declining new applications and develop and maintain profitable broker relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make credit decisions on transactions within credit authority & credit recommendations on transactions not within authority within Navitas credit guidelines. Assist other analysts in the decision process as appropriate.
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, Dun & Bradstreet reports and other third-party information to determine the borrower’s creditworthiness.
- Correspond with brokers, lessees, banks, and vendors as appropriate to answer specific questions, gain additional information and appropriately market Navitas products.
- Maintain existing broker relationships. Assist with the development, implementation, and updating of broker programs.
- Review funded transactions as required for auditing purposes.
Education and other credentials:
- 5th year college or university program certificate; or 2-4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills required: Database Software, Microsoft Office.
- Previous equipment leasing/loan industry experience preferred.
