Agility Partners is seeking qualified applicants to fill an open IT Controls Tester position with one of our Banking clients. In this role, you will assist with IT controls testing in an enterprise-wide organization. This is an exciting opportunity to kick off a career in Risk Management.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the documentation of Policy Controls and Process
- Participate in the identification and analysis of risks
- Participate in the proposal and testing of controls introduced to mitigate risk
- Aids in the performance of risk and control self-assessments
- Able to articulate both inherent and residual risk and communicate control requirements
- May provide counsel on common methods to address gaps and execute controls
- May assist in the development and execution of enterprise risk management programs
- Develop business and technology team knowledge to better understand processes, metrics, and required controls
- Participates in the documentation and maintenance of risk program and initiatives
- Ensures timely completion of controls testing in accordance with guidelines
- May assist in the remediation of issues found during controls testing
- Documents and maintains processes as needed
- Gathers data and provides reports and metrics in accordance with guidelines and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Able to effectively communicate control requirements
- Aids in fostering a culture of risk awareness
- Partners with Technology Segment Risk Managers to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders with business partners and IT technology teams
- Contributes to teams continuous improvement culture by applying critical thinking skills and experiences to make suggestions
- Works under significant supervision of a Segment Risk Manager or Segment Risk Specialist Sr

- No prior auditing or risk experience required!
- Must have experience with MS Office365
- Experience with process documentation nice to have
- IT exposure nice to have
- Exposure to manual testing or auditing nice to have but not required
