Compensation: Hourly starting range $23 - $35; Commensurate to Skills and Experience.
Hours: Full-time; Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm

The Company designs, develops, constructs, and operates biogas renewable energy generation systems, primarily on dairy farms. Position Description
Maas Energy Works (MEW) is seeking a self-motivated, organized financial analyst who enjoys working in Excel to join the Finance department and work in the FP&A team. The position requires someone willing to develop a high level of excel knowledge that will be used to turn large historical and operational data sets into insightful information in the form of financial models, proformas, graphs, and quantitative tables. This will include analyzing investment opportunities, conducting cost analysis and reviewing past project performance to better inform forecasting models, and then building or updating project forecasting tools for multiple departments within the Company. The ideal candidate will have a high level of interest in Excel, enjoy being detailed oriented, want to be consistently learning, be able to demonstrate effective data visualization skills, and possess excellent written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Update, maintain, and develop existing financial forecasts and data sets for operational projects.
- Troubleshoot existing financial models to find ways to improve functionality, find errors, and reduce file size.
- Collaborate with Executive, Sales, and Project Development team members to construct and update project budgets, conduct performance forecasts, and analyze new investment opportunities.
- Research revenue and fundraising markets to inform new and existing financial forecasts.
- Compile, analyze, and visualize large data sets to improve existing models to increase accuracy in predictions.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2 years of experience in an Analyst or Financial related position is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics is a plus.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Must be proficient in English.
- The position is located at the Company Headquarters in Redding, CA (no remote applications).
