POSITION: Manager of Fiscal Services/Controller (Exempt/Non-Bargaining Unit)

LOCATION: Redding Office

HOURS: Full Time Position - 39 hours per week

SALARY & BENEFITS: $53.79 - $69.93 per hour. Complete package of fringe benefits including Vacation and Sick Leave, Health Insurance, 17 paid Holidays, and CalPERS Retirement. Travel allowance for field work.

JOB SYNOPSIS & QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:

This position works under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the oversight/performance of complex accounting and finance functions which may include accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchase of service accounts payable, client trust, budgeting and forecasting, cash management, and tax/audit compliance. Supervises designated fiscal staff. Duties include preparation of operations revenue and expense projections, financial reports and records; maintaining and auditing general ledger accounting system and interface points; preparation of audit schedules and analyses; evaluation and development of accounting systems; monitoring cost center results against budgets; maintaining retirement trust accounting system, and providing audit services to community programs pursuant to DDS regulations and FNRC policy and procedures. Serves as backup for other fiscal staff/managers. Requires Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business Administration and four years of professional corporate/large business accounting experience, including one year of professional audit experience. Supervisory experience required and mastery of Microsoft Excel or other accounting software. Certified Public Accountant and experience with a non-profit or grant-funded organization preferred.
