The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for the preparation and review of tax returns (1120S, 1120, 1065, 1041, 1040, etc.) and additional duties as assigned. The ideal candidate would have their CPA license or be CPA eligible and actively seeking to complete certification. This position has tremendous potential for the right fit to advance to a leadership position in our practice.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of tax returns of varying scope/complexity
- Coordinates work with clients in compiling information
- Maintain financial records in an organized, accessible system
- Providing high level customer service to our clients
Experience and Skills
- Certified Public Accountant or CPA eligible highly preferred
- Enrolled Agent designation preferred if not on CPA career track
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Three years of taxation experience
- Working knowledge of general accounting and financial statements
- Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under time constraints and tight timelines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
