JOB OVERVIEW
The Senior Financial Analyst's purpose is to perform routine to highly complex financial analysis to support business initiatives according to established procedures, departmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements applicable to the work. Additionally, the role will forecast, analyze and report business performance in an accurate and objective manner.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently and proactively provide reasonable solutions to complex problems for various Corporate, Marketing, Culinary, and/or Operations initiatives
- Communicate complex information in a simplified manner to drive value-creating behaviors
- Maintain active communication with key business partners
- Prioritize actions based on the needs of the team, focusing on impact and value creation
- Take the extra step to find answers to next-level questions
- Prepare and coordinate various weekly, monthly, and year-end analyses, reports, and financial records for management review
- Perform financial oversight for assigned area(s); model and evaluate financial impact of special projects and programs
- Teach fundamentals of analytical techniques, model building, and business communication
- Provide guidance and coaching for key processes based on business expertise
- Perfect advanced analytical techniques, model building, and business communication
- Prioritize effectively to move multiple concurrent projects to completion
- Increase the efficiency/effectiveness of reporting through streamlining, removing, simplifying, and/or automating.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- 4+ years of experience with progressing responsibility in moderate to highly complex financial analysis and reporting functions
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Excellent analytical skills, strong initiative, and flexibility in analyzing results
- Project management experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- MBA or related advanced degree
- Certified Public Accountant license
- Chartered Financial Analyst
- Understand analytical tools: R, Alteryx, robotic process automation
- Knowledge of statistics, corporate finance, and/or accounting
- Knowledge of HFM, Oracle, MicroStrategy BI, OneStream, or similar financial systems
- Drive results through analysis
- Self-starter willing to promote change when necessary
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting and SOX requirement
- Restaurant experience a plus!
