Job Description
You will be responsible for:
Gather, analyze, and synthesize information on existing processes or platforms to make recommendations to improve systems and processes.
Provide business and data analysis during all phases of a project as required, including but not limited to:
Analyze and document requirements for enhancements to systems, business processes and/or data platforms.
Design and clearly document recommended solutions paired with procedures to business problems.
Establish timelines with internal and external stakeholders.
Assist and co-ordinate testing, ensuring issues are resolved in a pragmatic and appropriate manner, to get the business sign-off.
Become familiar with workflows, systems, and stakeholders to be an advocate for critical business concerns and timelines.
Collaborate with management, report progress and escalate risks and issues in a timely manner, to ensure successful completion of projects/enhancements.
Assist in support of production workflows via troubleshooting and resolution as needed, facilitate resolution with technology teams to meet business requirements.
Assist in active process risk mitigation.
Maintain client relationships and forge strong partnerships across the business. Help identify opportunities where technology can be an enabler or improve productivity and relay them to leaders for possible follow-up actions through projects/BAU.
The experience you bring:
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience. This will include carrying out business process reviews and/or production of business requirements and/or business data analysis.
Experience in supporting BAU of front and back office systems for at least 2-3 years.
Familiar with front and back office workflows of asset management industry, ETF industry preferred.
Basic technical skills such as SQL, Python or other programming language would also be beneficial.
Experience with data analysis or AWS is a plus.
Experience of Agile/Scrum/Kanban would be beneficial.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems/Computer Science is preferred or commensurate relevant work experience.
Excellent verbal skills (must be capable of communicating clearly and effectively to senior business users, ETF Services management and internal team members) and written skills (including ability to produce process flowcharting, requirements, project plans, and formal documentation).
