This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager FP&A for R&D Functions and is based at Skillman, NJ.

What You Will Do
The Senior Financial Analyst will be part of the Kenvue Innovation Finance team and will provide financial leadership to the Growth & Innovation Leadership Team collaborating closely with senior R&D Leaders. This role will be responsible for partnering with R&D Functions (Medical Safety, Medical Affairs, packaging teams) for all close and planning cycles.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical and systems skills. They will proactively understand and provide insights on trends, opportunities, and challenges in the industry and in the external environment to promote and influence business partners in decision-making that is accretive to the portfolio. Key responsibilities of the role include involvement in the innovation strategy and framing key management presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead quarter close, business planning and forecast cycles, providing accurate and timely information to innovation leadership.
- Lead within the global FP&A team to develop the annual business plan and subsequent updates and ensure that financial commitments are met.
- Financial analyses on overall global results, providing key insights for portfolio management, and directly supporting R&D leaders and their teams.
- Deliver process improvement through adoption of new systems.
- Proactively educate and develop business partner financial acumen.
- Proactively take initiative to drive business results, as well as process development and improvement.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Finance, Accounting or equivalent with sufficient experience in finance or accounting.
- A minimum of four (4) years of overall experience.
- Excellent analytical (MS Excel).
- The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required with a strong track record in business partnering and project management, ability to work well in a dynamic environment and recommend and implement operational improvements, work independently, and handle several tasks simultaneously.
Desired Qualifications
- Presentation (PowerPoint), as well as conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional certification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- Prior FP&A (Global consolidated performance & financial analytics) experience.

- Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $73,000 to $117,300. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
