Purpose: Cincinnati, Ohio Employer has an immediate opening within the Accounting Department. Our Sr. Accountant will be responsible for accounting activities including:
Position Responsibilities:
- Corporate Reporting
- Month End Closing, Journal Entry posting for Month-End,
- Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable;
- General Ledger; Inventory Control
- Cycle counts, fiscal inventory, up-to-date standard costs
- Product error-free accounting reports and present their results
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Trial balance analysis and other business analysis as needed
- Performing other accounting duties as required or assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college
- 2+ years in Manufacturing
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven experience in corporate reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Very good experience with ERP systems (SAGE a plus)
- Knowledge in Hyperion
- Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
