Compensation Range
Hourly: $37.75 - $47.15 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to support the Company’s accounting team with its external financial reporting obligations. This position is responsible for the accurate application of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for operational functions. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual, driven to produce quality work, and enthusiastic about continuous learning within a complex, dynamic industry. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement.
Essential Functions
- Preparation of the Company’s Form 10-Q and 10-K
- Preparation and analysis of the XBRL tagging utilized in the Company’s Form 10-Q and Form 10-K filings
- Preparation of other financial statements issued by the Company for its various subsidiaries and benefit plan filing requirements
- Preparation of certain financial information utilized by senior management
- Complete monthly and quarterly derivative accounting entries, reconciliations, and disclosures
- Perform valuation testing over the Company’s derivatives
- Preparation of regulatory bank holding company filings
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process
- Provide pertinent financial information to departmental and corporate managers and assist with internal reporting
- Work with external auditors to provide them necessary information during year-end and at period reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 2+ years accounting experience required
- Public accounting experience preferred
Hybrid Schedule: In office 2 days per week
