Your key responsibilities would include
- Frequently collaborating on project management efforts by assisting in structuring projects, engaging in key client interactions, and generating deliverables as required.
- Analyzing operational and project processes, assessing efficiency, and identifying opportunities for performance improvement.
- Supporting the development of high-quality presentations and documents for client engagements.
- Gathering and analyzing data to identify trends and inform critical business decisions.
- Managing budgeting and forecasting for large-scale projects, and communicating with clients on project financials and timelines.
- Assisting in the development of dashboards and reports to track key project milestones, financial metrics, and internal key performance indicators (KPIs).
As an ideal candidate would (be/have)
- Have a strong background in business analysis, preferably within the utility or power distribution industries or similar sectors.
- Ability to manage, monitor, analyze, and extract insights from large data sets to craft compelling narratives that can aid in the creation of executive-level reports and the development of business optimization initiatives.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 platform, particularly Excel and Power Apps including Power BI, Power Platforms, and Power Automate.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Possess a growth mindset, constantly seeking ways to improve processes and contribute to company success.
- Excel in both written and verbal communication, comfortable interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Be adaptable, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Willingness to develop expertise across all aspects of our clients’ operations.
Your qualifications would include
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in finance and/or data analysis, supporting finance, business, or operations teams.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Skilled in developing, analyzing, and monitoring KPIs for internal company processes to suggest opportunities for improvement.
- Comfortability in utilizing a variety of data analysis tools and techniques to evaluate processes, identify requirements, and provide data-driven insights.
Preferred experience would be
- Advanced proficiency in using a variety of Power Apps including Power BI, Power Platforms, and Power Automate.
- Relevant advanced degree and/or certifications.
- Proven impact on business performance through a track record of participating in process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives.
- Familiarity with the utility industry or power distribution.
