Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Perform month-end close process, including processing journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Work daily with the Area General Manager to support business decisions and drive process improvement and profitability in the financial and operating value streams.
- Work with the Regional Finance Manager to support financial planning and analysis with the Service Center, including annual budget development.
- Provide guidance to the Service Center Finance staff for job costing, inventory counting & analysis, accounts payable, labor entry, expense reporting.
- Travel 25% to support Service Center staff.
- Perform Ad-Hoc analysis to drive data-based decisions to grow sales and profitability.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of Accounting experience preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of Managerial Accounting experience preferred.
- Proficient with MS Excel/Word/Outlook.
- Working knowledge of accounting systems and month-end close processes.
