S3 Inc. has an immediate opening for a Senior Production Analyst to support our STORM work at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Description:
The Senior Production Analyst will provide production planning and analytical support to the Production Division, Engineering Directorate, Strategic and Operational Rockets and Missiles (STORM) Project Office, PEO Missiles and Space. This includes strategic and tactical planning for existing and planned production/integration of all STORM products at prime contractor facilities and major subcontractor manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic and tactical planning of STORM missiles, rockets and launchers and support assessments of manufacturing processes and capabilities.
- Determination of technical feasibility of specific production activities and plans, reviewing and documenting results, and support to leadership briefings.
- Provide production management support for the STORM Missile, Rocket, MLRS M270 and/or HIMARS Integrated Product Teams addressing risk items and opportunities, realism of production costs and schedules, assessment of operating support budgets and allocations, impacts of Product Budget changes on production, impacts of foreign military sales on the production capabilities.
- Assessment of contracting strategies on production requirements; including, support to technical reviews of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)/waivers/deviations, contract deliverables acceptability determinations, and technical evaluations of production proposals by contractors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree and 20 years of experience or Masters and 18 years of experience.
- Eight or more years of experience supporting Strategic or tactical planning functions for DoD programs.
- Five or more years of experience providing management support to DoD programs and providing risk assessments related to production and quality.
- Three or more years of experience assessing or implementing contract strategies on production programs.
- Possess an active DoD secret or higher clearance.
- Prefer three or more years of experience supporting technical evaluations of proposals for DoD programs and reviewing and commenting on contract deliverables related to production programs.
