The MedSpa Sales Consultant is responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service in a medical spa environment. This role involves educating clients on various treatments and services offered, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, as well as a genuine commitment to helping others. They must have an understanding of the medical field, including terminology and processes, in order to effectively address any questions or concerns that may arise. This individual should also have a friendly competitive spirit and presentation, motivated to help meet and exceed goals. In addition, the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities is essential in this role, as is the ability to stay organized.
This position involves interacting directly with new and returning clients on a daily basis both over the phone and via email and/or text. As such, strong verbal and written communication skills are required. The Sales Consultant must be technically savvy, capable of using various computer programs efficiently and expertly, including electronic health records (EHRs), scheduling systems, billing software, Google Workspace, and tools as needed to support the client's aesthetic journey.
HIPAA Certifications Required:
- HIPAA: You must successfully complete (and pass) an online HIPAA compliance training within the first 2 days of employment (paid hours).
Key Responsibilities
Client Consultation:
- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with spa staff and Style Aesthetics' clients.
- Conduct thorough, knowledgeable consultations with clients to understand their aesthetic needs, and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Explain the benefits and procedures of medspa services, including skincare treatments, injectables, and other aesthetic services.
- Perform other duties as requested by the clinic management team.
Sales Performance:
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals through proactive outreach, relationship development, and follow-up with new and existing clients.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, activities, to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Monitor individual and team performance as indicated by KPIs, providing feedback to management around overall performance, goals, etc.
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive client experience.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in the medspa industry.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and services offered, including pricing and promotions, and ideal client profile, needs for these services, treatments.
Marketing & Social Media Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote services through social media, events, and promotions.
- Assist in developing marketing materials and strategies to drive foot traffic and online engagement.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales, and appointments in the designated management system(s).
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing the sales pipeline.
- Attend Weekly and Monthly meetings with management, and clinic team to ensure alignment of goals, services, treatments, and report on results and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the beauty, wellness, or healthcare industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical spa services and treatments is a plus.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and demonstrate a passion for helping others achieve their aesthetic goals.
- Proficient in using sales software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Bachelor's Degree Required.
Working Hours & Setup & Locations:
- This is a full-time position, with flexible hours.
- The Sales Consultant must be available to work between the hours of 8am and 6pm PDT (US Pacific Time), with some additional hours (as needed) during evenings and weekends.
- A standard ongoing schedule will be determined within the first 30 days.
- A professional appearance and demeanor are essential in this client-facing role.
- This position is flexible to work from home, with strong preference to candidates in the Portland, Oregon area. Relocation will not be provided.
