Ramboll is looking for candidates for full-time Associate Consultant positions located in the United States. The Associate Consultant will work in a challenging and variable environment that includes detail-oriented independent work and client interactions.
Your New Role
Our team is growing to meet the expanding environmental noise and vibration assessment needs of clients across various sectors – including infrastructure, renewable energy, ports, transportation, and data centers. As our new Associate Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team providing state-of-the-art scientific, technical, and strategic risk management knowledge to an international client base. Your key tasks and responsibilities will potentially include:
- Capturing and analyzing sound level data (ambient, compliance, and source) using sound level meters and monitors in a range of environments from busy urban areas to remote locations.
- Estimating sound levels of various types of sources (e.g., industrial, transportation).
- Modeling sound propagation using specialized software.
- Quantifying the effectiveness of noise mitigation, including barriers.
- Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, provincial, and federal environmental regulations.
- Preparing reports and communicating results to clients.
ABOUT YOU

- New or recent graduate with a Bachelors or Masters in an Engineering, Science, or Mathematics-related major.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Curiosity to learn.

- Ability to work well independently and at remote job sites.
- Ability to work well with a team.
- Solid office software skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, etc.).
Helpful Additional Qualifications:
- Experience, education, or training in environmental noise, industrial noise control, or building acoustics.
