Required
- 5+ years of Information/Cybersecurity experience
- 2+ years of intermediate to advanced experience with public cloud computing/hosting (preferably Microsoft Azure and/or Google)
- Demonstrated deep understanding of cloud technology and cloud security concepts, spanning cloud platforms/landing zone, cloud services, Identity & Access Management, boundary protection / network security, cloud storage and data protection
- Strong understanding of and ability to apply knowledge of industry/government standards and frameworks to “real world” business and technical requirements (e.g. NIST, CIS, CSA, FFIEC, ISO)
- Experience with Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies
- Strong analytical skills, proven critical thinking capabilities and ability to solve complex problems with minimal direct oversight
- Ability to handle multiple, high priority deliverables concurrently
- Ability to communicate confidentially, professionally, and effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with stakeholders and partners
- Intermediate to advanced experience working with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint)
Preferred Skills/Competencies/Certifications
- Specific experience conducting Cloud implementation/migration control and or security capability validations
- Cloud auditing experience
- Cloud, Risk and/or Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CCSK)
- Cloud certifications specific to Azure, Google or AWS
- Understanding of information security threats, trends and industry best practices and security tools
- Finance sector security experience or other regulated industry (e.g., utilities, health care, government)
Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced professional to support our Cloud Security Delivery Team. Position title is Leads Business Execution Consultant (Business Execution Consultant 4 - Contingent). Be a part of one of the core teams working on digital transformation; join our dynamic, diverse and fast-paced team environment where we secure and reduce risk for our Enterprise cloud migration. This position will coordinate and facilitate information gathering, organizing “asks” and ensuring timely responses for the Cybersecurity workstream of the Digital Infrastructure Strategy (cloud) Program. The ideal candidate will have project management and business analyst skills and experience and must have specific experience working with public cloud implementations within the context of information/Cybersecurity. This position supports the Cloud Security Delivery Leader, an Executive Director level leader who is the primary representative of Cybersecurity to the cloud Program. The person selected for this role will work very closely with this Executive Director and be a delegate for collaboration, orchestration and execution of our body of work with other cloud workstream partners. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to influence, proven experience bringing people to consensus, recommending solutions to complex problems, executing complex programs in an IT/IT security context and removing blockers. The role requires someone who is highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with peers who are passionate and driven to deliver quality results on time and with highest levels of due diligence. The cloud program is highly visible; the day-to-day work can be very intense, as such the individual selected for this position must be capable of staying calm and focused under pressure; and, this person must be effective at interfacing with engineers, analysts, architects, PMs, along with Mid/Senior/Executive Leadership. Additional responsibilities include: aggregating details for decisioning/action planning, marshaling of resources, concisely summarizing complex details for executive consumption/decision making, creating presentation materials - PowerPoint/Visio, etc. and provide support as needed for secure and efficient cloud service and application deployment execution.
