What’s the job?
To facilitate the growth of our consulting offer, we’re looking for a Subject Matter Expert PXM & Ecommerce. Our goal is to build this offering to become the main revenue driver at our agency. Your main objective is to support our customers during the implementation of their business applications such as PIM- and e-commerce solutions (Orocommerce, Magento and Shopware). You will act as a linking pin between business, IT and development/delivery to enable business growth by translating requirements into functionalities, which includes consulting on the flow of data (product-, customer- and order data) throughout the organisation. We’re practical people and our goal is to add value as quickly and effectively as possible. This requires a collaborative, partnership-driven mindset. When you’re not working for our clients, you’ll be able to work on further fine-tuning our existing methodologies or creating new ones, initiating new offerings as you see fit, and keeping your knowledge up to date to ensure we keep delivering value to our customers.
Who are our customers?
From our office in Utrecht, we support a large variety of customers: from multinational corporations to smaller mid-market customers operating in various markets such as medical devices, chemical distribution, and manufacturing. Depending on the project, one can expect to work with stakeholders across all levels of the organisations and across various continents.
Your working environment
- A smart small Dutch team to contribute to the designing and implementing solutions.
- A Group consulting team providing guidance and return on experience.
Our ideal candidate
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong analytical skills to analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and high-level technical requirements.
- A curious mindset that enables you to go beyond the first request and facilitate the creation of holistic and durable solutions.
- The skills to strike a balance between details and the bigger picture to avoid getting lost in analytics.
- Understanding of common IT data patterns (such as API, middleware, dataflows, data models); we do not expect you to develop anything.
- A critical mindset.
- The skills to reflect on one's actions and behavior.
- A drive for feedback.
As we are an internationally oriented company, traveling for business can be expected; however, most interactions are remote. Besides, at least 2 years of relevant work experience and strong communication skills in Dutch and English are mandatory. Ideally, you should have an HBO level.
Organization & location
- 32h-40h per week.
- You will report to Jelmer Tick, Digital Transformation Consultant.
- Hybrid location:
- 1 day a week from the office in Utrecht city in the co-working space of Tribes next to the Centraal Station.
- Anywhere you want the rest of the time (unless common sense requires otherwise).
What’s in it for you
- A salary ranging from €3500 to €4000 depending on experience.
- Join a group of enthusiastic colleagues.
- Work in a multicultural environment.
- Specific training and certification to your situation.
- Grow your current knowledge and experience range of digital & e-commerce solutions.
