This position is considered for the Practice Area Central Functions with the focus on finance.
Key Responsibilities
- You will perform on complex strategic Finance Transformation projects by leveraging your experience in Finance operations and functions.
- You will complete all assignments under the guidance of an Engagement Manager, including all project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting and problem resolution, conflict management, client and stakeholder management and all other relevant aspects of the assignments.
- You will analyze customer needs, develop innovative solution concepts and actively contribute to pitches.
- You will provide support to existing clients while ensuring effective and efficient key account management and help and coach more junior project team members.
- You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned tasks until completion.
- You will ensure adequate development of team members via coaching, mentoring, personal development and training.
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
- You have a university degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- You have broad experience in Consulting or Project Management for more than 3 years, ideally in Finance Transformation projects within the insurance or financial services industry.
- You have extensive Finance expertise in at least one of the following areas: Accounting, Controlling, Risk Management, Actuarial and/or Finance Operations.
- You have a very good understanding of Accounting/Controlling processes and the ability to grasp complex issues quickly.
- You are experienced in process optimization preferable within Accounting and Controlling processes.
- You have strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Preferably you bring in SAP S4/HANA knowledge – either as SAP user or ideally SAP implementation expertise.
- A professional certification, such as CPA or CFA would be considered a big plus.
- You are a strong team player with high assertiveness and ability to work under pressure.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English.
