Your new role
As our new senior lead consultant, you will be part of our interdisciplinary New England team. You will work with all levels of expertise from junior-level team members to members with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their fields. Consultants and Managers are part of a continual learning environment where they learn through coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job tasks.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Estimating air emissions and conducting engineering evaluations of air pollution sources
- Conducting computer modeling of air pollution dispersion and analyzing pollution control measures
- Performing statistical and geospatial analyses of air quality data
- Conducting air monitoring and indoor air quality analysis and preparing air quality permit applications
- Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations
- Maintaining client relationships and managing the development of deliverables to meet client needs in an efficient manner.
About you
- BS/MS in a relevant engineering discipline (chemical, environmental, mechanical, or closely related) or science discipline (atmospheric science, environmental science, chemistry, physics, or closely related).
- 6+ years of relevant air quality permitting and/or air quality compliance experience is required
- Strong mathematical/computational skills including high-level use of spreadsheets and word processing and effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills
- Experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports;
- Candidates must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time on average during the year and possess a valid driver’s license. Travel may include overnight stays and may be out of state.
