Become a Business Process Improvement Senior Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll support the Procurement Tools and Technology sector by driving procurement excellence and spearheading the development and execution of strategic goals for the broader Procurement entity. This includes business process enhancement, technological advancements, roadmaps, compliance governance, and methodological approaches. Responsibilities
- Leads projects; determining scope, budget, timelines, forms teams, assigns tasks, manages resources and issues
- Develops and implements best practices and policies to govern business processes as well as strategic plans for digital transformations of end-to-end work management processes
- Relies upon Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and other project management principles to effectively streamline processes and new initiatives
- Develops strong relationships at all levels of the organization and leverages those relationships to improve overall department performance
- Creates, implements, and manages resources that optimize processes and improve data quality
- Directs and oversees technology project prioritization while adhering to annual budget
- Conducts analyses and oversees the preparation of reports that provide operational and technical support to business operations
- Designs and implements key performance indicators (KPIs) to streamline business strategy and leads key process improvement initiatives that help achieve company goals and improve customer satisfaction
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience with business process improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP or Ariba certification
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) Certification or Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM) Certification, Project Management Certification.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination or education, training, and experience.
- Three or more years of experience in Project Management
- Business process automation (process mapping) with ability to evaluate various platforms and provide fit/gap analyses.
- Demonstrated Functional Administrator-level experience in SAP Materials Management, Ariba Source to Pay and Fieldglass
- Experience integrating strategies with technology solutions such as Ariba, SAP, and related platforms, with the ability to manage change between the business, and technical resources (Internal IT or External SAP Engineering).
- Demonstrated experience developing SharePoint Solutions leveraging PowerApps, PowerAutomate, and PowerBI
- Experience implementing and enhancing procurement tools, strategies, and continuous improvement opportunities/methodologies (e.g., DMAIC, Six-sigma).
- Data Analytics (Data Science), Agile and Scrum Master
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
