Become a Compliance PMO Senior Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll work with Executives, Principal Managers, and compliance professionals across the enterprise to identify, prioritize, and implement multiple, large, complex projects to improve, mature, and optimize the company’s compliance programs. The Compliance PMO Senior Advisor provides oversight of these compliance programs and sub-programs to ensure Operational Unit adherence to compliance obligations, compliance risk is assessed adequately, and effective internal controls are operating as intended. Some examples of these high-risk compliance sub-programs are Public Safety Power Shut-off, Vegetation Management, and Energy Efficiency. You will work with Directors and Managers across the company to establish program and project objectives and manage timelines, deliverables, and budgets.

- Directs the implementation of priority Compliance Improvement programs and projects across the enterprise.
- Develops key milestones for project implementation and works with senior leadership to gain commitment to the schedule.
- Tracks and reports on progress to schedule, identify and communicate project risks and issues, and raise to senior leadership if required.
- Develops compliance improvement project metrics and the procedures to capture and report progress to E&C leadership.
- Prepares reports and briefs officers and senior management on project status, program health, operations, and risks.
The essentials
- Ten or more years of experience managing large, complex programs across multiple Operational Units or business areas.
- Five or more years of experience implementing compliance regulations.
- Experience managing project objectives, timelines, risk analysis, milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
The preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA or master’s degree.
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Six Sigma / Lean or other Process Improvement training/certification.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Proficient with PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project.
- Strong interpersonal, communications, and consulting skills for building relationships and fostering two-way communications.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Experience with quickly assimilating complex and technical information from various sources to identify and manage risk mitigations and issue resolutions with team members.
You should know
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
