Service Advisor Responsibilities
- Greet customers and answer phones promptly
- Meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle concerns
- Obtain customer and vehicle information
- Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
- Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage, and history of vehicle
- Increase profitability by maximizing sales and executing retail promotions
- Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
- Establish follow-up time
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
- Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
- Explain all completed work and charges to customers
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess These Qualities:
- Service Advisor, Dealership, Automotive Knowledge: 1 year
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- CDK experience is preferred
- Ford experience is a PLUS
- Dependable, friendly, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual
- Computer proficient
- Organized with superior time and priority management skills
- Customer service and sales focused
