JOB TITLE: Implementation Consultant - PLM
About the Opportunity:
The D3 team works with clients to improve their design data processes and workflows throughout the enterprise. We provide business services such as process improvement (PDM/PLM), data integration, design automation and overall consulting services. We specialize in Autodesk and other best in class technologies that provide clients immediate time to value. PDM Solutions along with multi-tenant, true Software as a Service (SaaS) PLM Solutions are changing the way Manufacturers of all sizes deal with enterprise data challenges. This is an exciting and fast paced environment that is both challenging and rewarding.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- PLM consulting and implementation expertise for our top manufacturing clients across the US.
- System Implementation: Ability to configure and implement cloud technology platform, along with data integration solutions, to the client specific workflows. Experience with a broad range of business workflows is a real advantage (i.e. Engineering Management (BOM & Change), Quality Management, New Product Introduction (NPI/NPD), Program Management, etc.)
- Project Contributor: Work as a vital contributor to consulting projects, interfacing with both internal and external team members, following the approved project scope and communicating status, issues, and changes through to the appropriate people.
- PDM/PLM Resource Management: Ideal candidate would have a broad understanding of product data management (PDM) and product lifecycle management (PLM) practices and be able to facilitate client discovery, prepare documentation workflows, and provide presentation of solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- General knowledge of manufacturing business systems and/or processes (CRM, ERP, PDM, PLM, MES, and CAD)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
- Basic knowledge of Cloud System and Software as a Service (SaaS)
- Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript)
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR:
- PLM Consulting: Experience in the areas of product data management (PDM), product lifecycle management (PLM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), new product introduction (NPI) practices.
- Business Analysis: Supporting sales and solutions engineers by conducting business process analysis in both PDM and PLM client engagements. Ability to facilitate client discovery, prioritize time to value, prepare systems architecture/document workflows and ultimately, presentation of PDM/PLM Solutions.
LOCATION & TERRITORY:
- Territory will cover clients across the U.S.
- Willingness to travel overnight, estimated 15%.
