Job Summary
The Dental Networks Strategy & Innovation department is a small, high-performing team of professionals that works closely with executive leadership across the enterprise to accelerate strategic execution of key initiatives, realizing significant value creation. Using an approach that combines consulting, change management, and partnership, the enterprise strategy team develops and executes strategic initiatives that aim to improve performance, capability gaps, and augment Dental Network growth prospects for the organization. This position will be responsible for creating reports, insights, and analysis in support of the division through collaboration with business and enterprise stakeholders. You will interact with leaders across the Dental Networks Division, and indirectly across the Enterprise, and maintain significant visibility into how the strategy is curated, managed, and its evolvement with industry dynamics. This position will also be creating specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs; providing consultation to business and IT partners and leading cross-functional teams to address the division's issues for reporting and analytics; engage with various departments and potentially external sources to produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree and 4 years’ experience in data analysis and information reporting OR 8 years’ experience in data analysis and information reporting.
- Experience utilizing SQL, SAS, Teradata, or other reporting tools/languages.
- Communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences both in written and verbal form.
- Lead projects and/or junior analysts.
- Initiative to solve complex problems; takes an outside-in perspective to identify innovative solutions.
- May lead functional teams or projects or decisions to support business needs for reporting and insights.
- Work with both internal and external data.
- Verify accuracy of reports and provide insights.
- Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
- Strong ability to design, develop, publish, and maintain Tableau dashboards and other reporting channels.
- Solid proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications; expert Excel skills.
- Strong ability to create insightful visuals.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines.
- Ability to act as a change agent.
- Professional, positive demeanor.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Master’s degree and 2+ years of professional experience.
- Dental Product or Network experience.
