Locum Consultant Clinical Oncologist in breast and urology tumours (inc prostate brachytherapy/SABR/SACT)
You will be joining a team of 13 Consultants providing comprehensive Oncology services to the 750,000 strong population of Lincolnshire. ULHT has a comprehensive range of radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatments at Lincoln County Hospital.
Main duties of the job
This post has been assessed as attracting 11 basic PA’s (inc on call) per week plus additional programmed activities by separate negotiation, as well as a 1:13 on call. This is a Trustwide appointment based at Lincoln County Hospital with one day a week at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston.
The candidate would undertake HDR and LDR seed implants for prostate cancer patients and also be able to prescribe SACT treatment.
You will be supported by 7 Specialty Doctors, 3 trainee Doctors along with, 2 Advanced Clinical Practitioners and 3 Clinical Nurse Specialists.
Base: Lincoln with one day per week at Pilgrim Hospital Boston

Qualifications
- GMC on spec register for clinical oncology
- Experience of brachytherapy and/or SABR
Specialist knowledge
- Extensive experience and training in clinical oncology
- Experience of clinical research and audit
- Teaching junior staff
