HOURS OF WORK: Full-Time; Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: 6003 Old Cheney Road, Lincoln, NE 68516
Primary Job Purpose: Perform collections and Home Solutions functions for mortgage loans ensuring attention to detail, accuracy and timely completion meeting all deadlines. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, government and banking rules and regulations as well as agency guidelines.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide outstanding customer service to borrowers, internal bank employees, attorneys, and vendors.
- Make outbound collection calls and follow-up calls as needed.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as necessary for management review.
- Prepare and process claims with investors.
- Complete monthly default status to Investors and Insurers.
- Interact with vendors for property preservation, foreclosure, bankruptcy and other legal issues.
- Maintain secure records of confidential information in an organized fashion.
- Review and decision borrower response packets when submitted for workout.
- Process workouts, for example, loan modifications, forbearances, repayment plans, as well as short sales and mortgage releases.
- Complete special projects as requested by management.
- Regular work schedule with a level of flexibility based on demand.
- Job responsibilities can change and expand as needed by the bank.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Work Direction: This position reports to the Mortgage Home Solutions Team Manager.
Accountability: This position has access to and knowledge of the financial situation of customers and the financial institution. The utmost discretion and confidentiality must be exercised with all data.
Work Relationship: Regular contact with internal and external customers. Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, and pleasant manner.
Supervision: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Basic accounting/math skills required.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks.
