The Team:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team for a summer internship. The Polk Automotive Solutions Sales Team is a dynamic, solutions-oriented team of account management and product delivery professionals. Through industry insights and product consulting, we bring strategic ideas to our internal and external clients. Through timelines, documentation and internal and external communication, we ensure positive customer outcomes.
This internship will run from June 3rd to August 9th.Location: Southfield, MI (relocation assistance not available)
The Impact:The PAS Sales Team is that of true sales enablement. We remove barriers to product fulfillment and actively assist sales in the discovery process to help clients articulate their goals and provide solutions that utilize Polk data. We provide frictionless facilitation to deliver successful, valuable outcomes and results.
What's in it for you:This position will participate in internal and external client calls, will have exposure to all facets of the SGPI Mobility business: Customer Success, Sales, Product and Production teams.
Responsibilities:- Brand ambassador at local industry events
- Report organization and management
- Salesforce cleanup and organization
- Meeting attendance, compiling recaps, and action items for team efficiency
- Creating proactive strategies for driving client engagement
- External workflow setup and organization
What We're Looking For:- Currently pursuing an undergraduate/graduate degree in a relevant field: Marketing, Business, Economics, Communications or similar
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented, driven by organization and efficiency
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- An aptitude to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment
- The ability to build strong working relationships in a collaborative setting
- Proficient in the Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Word)
- Personal and professional interest in sales, data analytics or new product development
- Experience in navigating and posting content to various social media platforms
