Program Manager, Japan Consumer Innovation
The Japan Consumer Innovation (JCI) Retail Scaling Team is seeking a Program Manager who contributes to our mission of bringing Amazon selling partners closer to customers and driving the Amazon Flywheel.
This role brings together execution, process management, and business skills to deliver new services to our selling partners. You will own back-office execution of a market research product directly impacting Amazon customers, selling partners, and team capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Use internal and external software tools to execute daily back-office product processes.
- Maintain visibility and communication of in-flight product executions with partner teams.
- Improve process by owning operational excellence activities.
- Identify process gaps and develop new process capabilities via deep-dives and cross-functional initiatives.
- Manage execution of daily back-office processes through offshore partner teams.

Minimum Requirements
- 1+ years of program or project management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Business level English (written and verbal).
- Business level Japanese (written and verbal).
- Solid project management skills including attention to detail, managing multiple in-flight tasks, identifying areas of risk, and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and respond flexibly to changes in a fast-paced, international environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience executing back office tasks.
- Experience with intermediate Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, etc.).
- Experience building standard operation procedure documents.
- Experience implementing new tools into existing operations.
- Experience with outsourced or offshore operations.
