ADP is hiring an Implementation Consultant I. In this position, you'll leverage our top-ranked training programs and world-class service guidelines, along with your business consulting expertise, to create exceptional onboarding experiences for each product or service implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review information and high-level requirements obtained during the sales cycle, then finalize details by interacting with client and vendor Subject Matter Experts.
- Use established best practices to design and document the solution and then configure and implement the solution.
- Act as primary contact and project owner accountable for a successful IDI implementation.
- Drive analysis process (phone calls, emails) to maintain a high degree of client engagement.
- Collaborate with partner resources to create the best design across all systems involved in the scope of the project.
- Write clear and complete Technical Design Document (TDD) that follows ADP best practices.
- Configure a client-specific solution that meets best practices for reliability and supportability.
- Create well designed test plans to fully validate the solution to ensure quality.
- Collaborate with partners and 3rd party vendors to unit test solutions prior to the client testing phase.
- Write internal solution documentation to ensure ongoing support.
- Train the customer users on how to interact with, maintain and validate the IDI solution.
- Ensure the client is executing a test plan and reviewing data to confirm expected results.
- Obtain client confirmation that they are comfortable with and confident in the solution results.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- At least 3 years of experience working in a client service/customer service environment.
- At least 1 year of business consulting experience.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python or Visual Basic a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Proven ability to maintain focus and work effectively with multiple demands.
- Ability to work both independently to provide solutions to the client and as part of a team to accomplish tasks.
- Strong client relationship skills including the ability to influence client and guide the client to best solution to help resolve their client needs.
- Ability to communicate clearly and in a directive manner to obtain necessary information and requirements from the client, explains technical concepts in a way that can be understood by the client, establish what tasks need to be completed by whom and by when, and creates credibility and fosters customer confidence.
- Must be comfortable working in a performance-based and structured environment while demonstrating high ethical standards.
- Experience with data retrieval, analysis, manipulation, and transformation.
- Experience implementing and/or supporting enterprise-grade software solutions; preferably HCM applications (i.e. time & attendance, payroll, accounting, point of sales, or HR-related software applications).
- Experience with technical writing. This can include writing technical summaries of client issues, client-specific support documentation, technical specifications, user guides, or training documentation.
