Do you love numbers but want to have frequent interactions with people? Aptora Corporation, a leading software company in Lenexa, KS, is looking for an accounting “unicorn” to join our team as a QuickBooks Expert/Software Consultant.
We are seeking someone who has extensive knowledge in bookkeeping or accounting, a minimum of a 4-year accounting degree, and is an expert with basic accounting principles. We also want someone who has exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to have more interaction with people.
Responsibilities:
- Provide software consultation to both inside and outside customers
- Conduct software training sessions for customers
- Assist in the implementation of software solutions for customers
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues for customers
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Collaborate with the software development team to identify and solve customer issues
- Promote Aptora products and services within the industry
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Expert knowledge of QuickBooks software (QuickBooks Pro Advisor Certification is preferred)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Prior consulting experience is preferred
