Seeking Bayesian Consultant for Project to Estimate Greater Amberjack Abundance
This is an exciting opportunity to provide statistical support for a large-scale, 2-year multi-institutional project to estimate the abundance of Greater Amberjack in the Gulf of Mexico and the east coast of the US. We’re looking for someone with excellent skills in Bayesian modeling who can devote up to 52 days a year working on the project to develop, code, and evaluate models for a variety of data types with spatial dependence.
The consultant will contribute directly to the project component that is led by Department of Fisheries Science Professors John Hoenig and Grace Chiu at William & Mary’s Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS).
