The Senior Consultant is a mid-level client-facing position on Kroll Restructuring’s dynamic and engaged Solicitation Team. Kroll’s Senior Consultants manage the day-to-day work on our voting events (both within the context of chapter 11 bankruptcies and otherwise) and are responsible for planning, supervising, and conducting the quality assurance review of all aspects of the projects to ensure success. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent judgment and effectively communicate all necessary information to junior team members as well as senior team members. Moreover, the ideal candidate should be able to motivate a team, demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects at once, innovate, and drive results in a deadline-oriented industry.
Note: This position will be Hybrid in our New York office.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of assigned projects and appropriately delegate responsibility to team members while maintaining a strong overview of daily processes.
- Manage a team of employees including assigning work, setting schedules and expectations, and evaluating employees’ performance.
- Evaluate and manage project workflows and consistently recommend and implement improvements.
- Work with managers across the organization to ensure effective cross-team communications and procedures.
- Interact professionally with bankruptcy professionals, clients, and vendors.
Essential Traits
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrable leadership experience, in particular, managing a team of at least 3 people
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Two or more years of voting, solicitation, and/or tabulation experience in the industry
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Advanced degree or relevant experience preferred.
